Why do Twin Adders hunt gears look so horrible?

You can't demand SE make gear to your own personal tastes every patch.

Personally, I don't like the 50 shades of trenchcoat that Maelstrom get and I like the gear from the other two GC's. Sucks that I'm in Maelstrom...

Might consider changing later.

Serpent caster gear looks really good. It's more brown than yellow and definitely evokes healer unlike Too Cool For School coats in Maelstrom or... I'm sorry, I don't know what was going on in Flames when they designed their caster gear.

That aside, I'm surprised that quite a few still like the adders gear here. I might just have to scout the Hunting Scholars to get a good look at the full sets again...

I disagree- I actually prefer the Adders "Hunter/Gatherer"esque clothing for the hunts.
It's even gotten me interested in the hunts themselves (Because I could have gave a qu'rins tail about it before I saw the archer gear). :P

yellow is not a popular favorite color from the beginning. you ask 100 people about their favorite color and they'll say blue, red, black, etc. probably 5 people out of 100 will say they like yellow the most.

It depends on the shade of yellow. If you give me a bright neon yellow then no I don't... but the Adders yellow is a softer yellow and I actually like it. In all honesty I hate red... I think it's to harsh and a violent color. Black tends to be highly over used but nice, blue is nice as well. My favorite color happens to be green~!

But I love colors based on nature/forest the most, so the browns, yellows, greens etc of Gridania suit my color pallet just fine.

I personally don't like the new adder gear ( at least for the full sets) but a lot of those pieces are great with other pieces of gear, it's a shame the gear is tied with your GC because I'd probably be able to come up with something mixing them up.

I like the serpent weapons a lot actually. Every time I see one I'm like "dayum I want that!" Overall I only really like the DoW serpent outfit. Can't get into the mage or tank ones.

I kinda really want the maelstrom outfits though ;_;
