I think the ilvl increases hurt the most for players who like to have multiple jobs. To be at your best you have to stick with just one job which gets repetitive. When new jobs are introduced, who's going to have the time to keep them up to speed? We would need to abandon our current jobs.

This hits the nail on the head for me.

You need only 1 day to equip a fresh level 50 job with full ilevel 90 gear. With 2.4 I'm sure it would be no problem to get full ilevel 110 gear in just 1 week.

Except if ilevel 200 gear would be level 55 gear. Then they would be level-synched in lv50 dungeons.

Thats exactly why Syrcus Tower item restriction will be lifted. So that all your 8 classes can get some love, and get at least iLvl100 on the left side, then with the Oil of sand, UAT and soon? Sands of time, no doubt people will be at iLvl105 minimum.

OP - it's called adaptation. if you can't do it they way you are now, or it takes so long you want not to do it - well, it's been ages that I haven't helped any low-level ones, even if the bonus for completion are good.

No time left once you have done the minimum that you want to do, and then a few specific dungeons, which are iLvl80+

    Good luck to you.
