Question about glamours and Grand companies

Was wondering if one could maintain glamours of an item belonging to one Grand company regardless of what Grand company youre currently enlisted in.

For example lets say i prefer the maelstroms chocobo barding so i need to remain a member of the maelstrom to use it, but i would like to have my weapon glamoured to a Flame lieutenants spear or something.

And could this also be done with the hunt mark faction gear?

On another note are allied seals Grand company Bound like the actual Grand company seals?
(like cant use flame seals for maelstrom items)

How glamours work: If you can currently equip it, you can glamour it. If you can't, then the glamour won't work, even if you applied it when it did work.

This applies to everything in the game. PVP gear included.

I can confirm that Chocobo Barding works.
My Chocobo did wear for a long time the Gridanian Hat (Feather), the Uldahn Body and the Lominsan Legs armor.

This however only works if you equip the piece while you belong to the corresponding GC.
Once you change, you get to keep it on your Chocobo, but once you remove it, you cannot equip it again.

Ah i see, the whole reason i really wanted to know if glamours worked across grand companies is because i like weapons for different classes across the different companies

maelstrom spear, gridanian sword, flame axe, and so on but i didnt think that made for that great of an example lol
