No, the change would have to be to remove or limit the rewards that the drooling masses feel they MUST have.

No, that would just make hunts worthless to begin with and would basically screw over anyone who didn't get a reward before the nerf (the whole exploit early before nerf skit seen in many games). Take out the rewards and what do you get? Monsters that people ignore. The way B marks are handled now work great. The same should apply for A and S, but with parties.

Well, the rewards are what have caused people to form these large herds, which destroys what the system was intended to be. Since you won't change the players, the rewards are the issue. Changing it so it's EASIER for every random person to get credit is NOT a fix.
