"I suck, nerf healers (again)!"
Winning thread as usual. And here I was worried we wouldn't get one this week.

Are you reading the replies or just dismissing those who disagree? As Gor already stated, stop pugging if it matters that much to you. It's amazing the difference when you surround yourself with people who aren't shit. Unless the problem is you, who knows.
EDIT: Lodestone'd you. I really hope that's not the gear you're trying to kill these healers with.

bro, do you even know how much healers heal for? on SCH i typically only heal for between 500-800 in FL so i dont even heal for that much and with healing debuffs on me, i heal for even less. i am getting hit by melee anywhere from 150/300-500 and i've even seen some 1k crits on me and i'm not even going to go into ranged attacks which hit for much higher. so you want your healers to heal you for 300ish because you want healers nerfed when you yourself are taking 300-500 damage hits? you're crazy. your "issue" is not with the amount of heals because we don't heal for that much, your issue seems to be our ability to be able to get off a heal because that's the only thing that is fluid, which is a problem deriving from YOUR end by not appropriately crowd controlling us, not ours or SE's.
yea i'ma get up out this thread because i'm getting vexed and sick of this topic continuously coming up and its going to end in me saying something i'll regret and get me put out of forums. just so sick of this topic even though healers have been nerfed time after time because of it while melee jus keeps getting buffed and buffed over it, yet ppl are still bichin about it. the only problem is there is no buff or nerf in the world that is going to make healers "easier" to kill for you because the problem is not the healing classes, the problem is you're surrounded by baddies who do everything WRONG. the reality is SE can't buff baddies so as long as baddies exist, healers will continue to be "hard to kill" (/eyeroll).
pro tip: try rolling with a premade and see how fast healers die in a coordinated group (unless by chance you get versed against another premade group). your mind will be blown at how fast we die.

I love Playing Paladin in frontlines, im full strength and have pure DD accessoires and i once did over 700 crit damage with sprits within and with halone i can get over 600 crit dmg too and its still not the optimal Damage my Paladin can get.
Mark the Healers if nobody else does, pay attention to the stuns on the healer and throw them out when they try to cast, especially when they try to swiftcast.
Our Job is to annoy the shit out of enemy Healers and to protect our own Healers, both things i love to do...especially being annoying.
What i do is annoy the Healer...he usually has to burn all the cooldowns and tries to run away.
If that happens i let him run away and kill some low health target, while still keeping him away from the flag or from healing altogether. (while still looking up how our healers are doing)
You actually dont need to kill every healer, its enough to kill most of the other people, they either run away or they get killed cause nobody else is there.
Thats how i do it in this kinda situation and it worked for me and my team, at least i hope i do have a part in it lol.
Full Swing can give them a 20% phys debuff and since the patch i can get revenge for getting kicked of the middle, which didnt happened actually so often, as Glory Slash got a knockback now and the first thing i did was kickin a Healer from the Edge...i loved the sight.

The other fundamental aspect the OP fails to realize is this. In PVP, you can overheal all you want. You can spam Regens and Medica IIs until your face is blue. Because, it's PVP. You're not going to gain Titan or Twintania's attention because you're overhealing.
If other healers are like me, they throw out Med II and Regen's even when there's no damage taken in the event someone is hiding around the corner ready to attack. All of those numbers add up to the final total on the end scoreboard.
People who play tank shouldn't be allowed to make these posts. While some tanks SOME are quite good in pvp. A lot just don't understand gear and what they should be doing. Most healers are not over healing at all anymore. Most healers are wearing and eating tank food. Five k is the norm for healers for hp. You may want to even redo your stats. Some people are taking a second job they like to pvp and doing more pvp friendly stats/ Like Wars going all str. Or even trying as a Glad or Mrd. The box is pretty open before we get into real nerfs,
If we are going to complain about anything its how well a few blms work together. They are pure awesome when you have three or more coordinated blms. I can go from 5k to 0 in the time it takes to cast one spell.
^^ That right there says *you want healers to be easy to kill... Healers should stand there like a tree stump looking lost and depend on our team mates to rescue and peel off of us... again Try playing with a premade and not with some randoms and get the job done.
^^ Comment right here... not true.. The tank would be in my premade would Hold down a base alone and live long enough for us to get back to help him.. <~~ that right there shows he has better Survivability then a Healer, Maybe your doing something wrong?

I have yet to pvp in this game, but why do I get that sneaking suspicion that being a monk in pvp is gonna suck royal donkey balls? since I've only already seen the words "kiting" and "los'ing" thrown around, which as a melee player, is a total nightmare to deal with... how do dps's role measure up in frontlines anyways? are we totally useless and because tanks can deal just as much damage and healers can out-heal the dps anyways?
MNK is actually pretty darn good at pressure on healers due to one ilm punch and arm of the destroyer. just do your tanks a favor and don't shoulder tackle and waste stuns unless you have to and don't be afraid to use fists of wind over fire so people don't get away. Killing healers is just a matter of focusing one target and anyone who grew up in wolves den knew this as soon as FL opened and now everyone is just catching up.I have yet to pvp in this game, but why do I get that sneaking suspicion that being a monk in pvp is gonna suck royal donkey balls? since I've only already seen the words "kiting" and "los'ing" thrown around, which as a melee player, is a total nightmare to deal with... how do dps's role measure up in frontlines anyways? are we totally useless and because tanks can deal just as much damage and healers can out-heal the dps anyways?
