I really hate posting long posts like this that are filled with negative energy, but I feel like I have too.

If i offend anyone, I am sorry, but I feel like this has to be said...

After sending out the emails to the Hyurs and Miqotes, I received a couple of confused emails asking me what tell a story means. Since it seemed to be confusing, and I didn't want to clarify 20 more times what it meant, I deleted it when I sent out the remaining emails. While some may argue that it makes this a completely different theme, I don't think it does, which is why I had no problem deleting it from the description. I realized I don't have to say "tell a story!" for a picture to have meaning. Every model chooses a spot, chooses gear, and conveys some sort of story and emotion in their shots. Every picture tells a story. Regardless of what you think. It's insulting to all the other models that you are saying they don't. I don't think people were just being "pretty" by the river. I see a story in each and everyone of the pictures...even if the story is just relaxing in the sun (Kin, Vahn) looking at a blue bird fly by (Yunie) or enjoying the cool breeze coming off the river (Valentina). Those stories might not be good enough for you, but theyre good enough for me.

You may think your own story and photo were better than everyone else's, but according to both the voters and judges, it was not.

Lets think why they voted (or didn't, I should say) your picture out. Maybe the story in your head behind the picture was epic, but the outfit you chose, the background choice, and the pose were not very good. This was a fair elimination, and I am sorry you feel it was not. If you enter Cycle 3, I suggest taking stronger photos.

All the models should realize that you are being judged on outfit, pose, background, and overall impression. You can't do, and forgive my simple example, a sexy pose in a sexy themed shot and have an ugly background and ugly gear. No matter how sexy you think that pose is, if everything else in the image is bad you will not get voted on. So again, you may think the story you conveyed was very strong and epic and deserving of all the votes, but everything else about the image was weak.

Don't blame me, or anyone else, for you deciding to choose a weak background. Or a weak outfit. Or a strange pose. You chose that background, you chose that outfit, and you chose that pose. The voters and judges chose to eliminate you.
