This is useless junk. There is no need for it other than waste people's time and gil for the sake of more grind.
Or give us a way to convert it into field/battle demis.

How is it a waste of gil since it is pure gil that you NPC vendor... Rather get it than most of the craft mats back(since those tend to be most of the time cheap) though I guess at high level desynth it can be annoying.
While we are removing 'pointless junk' lets also remove failure. It just waste my time and gil for the sake of more grind. In fact every time I desynth I want Fieldcraft IIIs to fly out.
The point is that clear demimaterias are basically an extra failure option thrown in, rather than a benefit. And tbh it's hard to argue that RNG grind is a good thing.
I honestly don't mind a level of RNG. Especially in things like crafting and fishing, I think it adds a level of excitement. That "hold your breath and pray" moment when you desynth a Gigantshark, knowing there's a chance you're about to score yourself a South Seas Talisman, for instance.
That said, if Clear Demimateria are selling for less than the materials they are replacing from desynthesis at given levels, then we do have something of a problem.
Watch Clear demimateria come in to play 2.4. =d
