Mmmm, I have 441 Skill Speed. I forced myself to get Rosenbogen. I was hoping to get HA before but it never dropped for me lol. I'm a main BLM right now. I want to improve my second job which is Bard. I'll take account of everybody's comment :3 I know there's down time. I,m jsut slightly scared of long fights like T8.

Sometimes it may not be exactly 540 depending on straighter shot procs and stuff like adds adding to dot usage. but anywhere in the 500-540 range should be good. If you invigorate at 550+ you are likely going to lose a little TP depending on when the next tick happens. For instance, if you have 560 you will invigorate to 960 and the +60 TP tick will still only bring you to 1000. A loss of 20 TP.
That make sense. I'll make some tests around ^^

RNG.... I've been waiting over 3 months for a HA bow. And the t7 mask. Switched to SMN main for a while, but I'm back on BRD as of this week except for t7 kiting. SMN is so much better for kiting.

XD My group got 3 bows in 5 kills. Then the one week it dropped, I was in the States and couldn't raid. I'm confident one day I'll get it.

    This.

    @Aikaal
The only difference between timing Invigorate 'properly' and improperly is not wasting that TP tick. If you're going to cap and waste the tick, it actually makes no difference whether you pop Invigorate at 540, 600, 800, whatever; no matter what, you'll be back at full with 2 minutes until you can use it again, receiving the same net TP loss during that post-1st-Invig period, aside from, as before, that one TP tick being wasted or not wasted. In some fights, though very rare, it's even useful to make that early Invigorate so that you'll have the CD up for an AoE phase.

My invigorate usually hits just after some set of DoT reapplications. Depending on how many Straighter Shots I've gotten that will be between 570-600, but I've always been able to get a second GCD in before the tick would be wasted, such that 600 would technically be my ideal TP for restore. I kind of like the idea that it's going off after my 2 most expensive abilities as well, but I've no math backing that up as a good thing.

P.S. Does anyone have a method for keeping track of whether DoT ticks will go off instantly on reapplication or at the end of duration (such that we know whether to clip a particular DoT series)? I try to use my CDs to keep track of the 3-second multiple and a general sense of my skill speed to know where I should be shifting along the global tick, but it gets confusing if I ever double up oGCDs (usually from overwhelming Bloodletter procs) or if I make even a single mistake.

416/431 Skill speed depending on load-out.

Ugh I feel the pain of TP depletion. Hit it often with high skillspeed. I'm now sitting on a nice comfy 404 of it and can pace just about right. But with the rosenbogen ugh... first 2 minutes of t5 I was below 50%.

Not sure if it would help you any but you can use a macro
    /macroicon "Ability Name"
    macroicon will display cooldown time
I rarely if ever use macros but this seemed like one that may be useful
Invigorate i more or less use the same timing of when i play as dragoon.
Timing is crucial, and yeah longer fights for sure are harder to try and keep up tp

You'll rarely need to keep 5 minute uptime on any fight. Most of the large fights (primals or coils) have breaks in them where your TP is going to regenerate.
I think T8 is one of the only exceptions to this, and you'll need to use Paeon for the entire party, not just yourself.
4 minutes is pretty modest before being TP starved, Once you get high enough in level where you have a decent skill speed, you're going to notice yourself burning through TP fast... it is what it is. Invigorate helps a bit, but isn't going to last forever.

I did some research and looked with other bards. I don't seem to have TP management issue. I feel I was tricked to make a 5 minutes parser which I do great damage for the gear I have but it drops when I either TP out at 4mins or Army's Peon to continue. I'm iLevel 106 with Rosenbogen and I,m missing about 5-6 BiS so lol
