I got my Novus, Nightmare kicked in

When I finished my Novus, I still picked up the daily quest for map from Expert roulette since I was doing those for soldiery anyway. I'm now at 4 Alexandrite after having Novus for a couple of weeks.

Maybe someday they'll reduce requirement for Atma/Animus/Novus and these will come in handy. Otherwise, I'm not touching a second one. If I had it to do over again wouldn't have even 1 Novus.

For OP here, might do it just to get the 13 wasted points back. Or ignore it and go the Tome/Soldiery/Sands of Time route for a similar quality but much less time-intensive weapon.

You guys don't PVP a lot either, I mean I would of loved to cap out DET and CRIT maybe split CRIT with Skill Speed but, lets have fun. And there are times where I come close to death in open world, I just like perry.

Beside it be a shame that this is the only time we need Alexandrite, atmas, and books.

I'd just keep getting the alexandrite maps from the expert roulette. Probably wouldn't buy any more with myth, but it's not like activating and turning in the quest is any sort of time commitment. Actually doing the maps is a little bit, but it can't hurt and besides, it looks like you might want to redo those stats at some point, ya know, depending on how things might change from here out. Not sure if you'll be able to change them after another upgrade or if so whether it will be with another sphere scroll.

At least secondary stats barely matter at all. I personally won't do a full crit/ det Novus, but I must say, I never even considered anything but accuracy and maybe skill speed. Thinking outside the box there.

In most cases I'd feel the same way, but DRG and DET are a special case. 1 STR is like only 3 DET? That, paired with the fact that drgs are all about stacking up tons of multipliers, DET really becomes super noticeable. Im gonna upgrade from soldiery lance to novus soon, I'm really dreading the thought of trying to at least get near the DET cap of 33.
