    Female Roegadyn and Male Miqo'te

There is literally no good reason why there can't be Female Roegadyn and Male Miqo'te.

Unless Miqo'te reproduce by having messy, lesbian sex, and Roegadyn reproduce by budding, then there is no reason at all not to add them as a player-chosen race.

Final Fantasy XI had a reason for making those races genderlocked. This is not Final Fantasy XI.

Hey yoshikwalla. They've already said all the missing genders will be there for the PS3 release. Please use the search function.

I'm still against it, but it doesn't matter anyway. I kinda like the unique male/female thing galkas and mithras had going on.

Why would you be against a choice people have been demanding for 7 years now? If you want unique gender specific classes FFXI will always be there for you, but there's no reason they should still limit players now in the next game. Especially when you're not even one of those races in question.

Like I said, it doesn't matter that I'm against it, because it's only my own opinion, no one else. no need to attack.

Ok, well, in my opinion as an ex-FFXI player, I always thought that Mithra and Galka races complimented each other. It was unique. Mithra are female only and very feminine, while Galka are male only, big muscular beings. It's kinda like they are each others opposite sex. It is an unusual situation that not many games have.

By adding female Galkans and male Mithras, it takes away the unique style that they add to the game world.

Yes agreed, i also feel this way (besides the point that i find it somewhat disturbing to have opposite gender of these races). It's more so that it gives the game a twist in that sense. Makes them stand out and more unique and i think this was obviously SE's intention from the start and i think it's good.
My complaint regarding races would have been more regarding why they introduced the exact same races as FFXI under different names. Unless it is linked to FFXI and vanadiel, it's not original or unique seeing them as it's a completely different game.. but.. that's for another thread.

If they are going to really add the missing genders, I certainly do hope they become playable and not just NPCs. On that note I would like to see female Highlanders being larger more muscular woman. All the existing playable female races are very feminine and dainty. It would be interesting to have an option or two that are a bit bigger, stronger and tougher looking when creating female characters.
