1st Feeding

Ok so from regal purple ( 103 55 87) I did

5 pears
1 berry
5x all lighteners
1 Berry

In that order, all proc'd new feather. Using the +/- 5 That should put me right at 43 45 38 (soot range)


From Raisin Brown ( 71 55 23 ) I did

2 Pear
2 Berry
2 Berry
2 Berry
1 Pineapple

Which would put me right at 36 40 38.


Will report back in 4 hours. Im running this on 2 characters and aiming for dark blue or soot black

Damn I regret doing what you did.

Because you were wrong, you need to replace 5x lighteners with 5x deepeners (need 5 apples, 5 berries and 5 pears) then you're right on it.

Your calculator looks a little awkward. I made one too although I haven't uploaded it to google docs just yet because I am not quite sure when I want to release it.

I keep one tab for colour patterns, as you can see here:



In another tab, I can then determine the food needed:



Anything within a blue cell can be changed. The multiplyer is in just incase I find a particular pattern of fruit and want to adjust it quickly by dividing or multiplying. There are equations for each of the RGB adjustment cells which add up the weightings of each fruit by the number of each particular fruit. Like yourself, I used the MIN and MAX too to stop overshooting.

Does anyone have confirmation that using 1 feather message from feeding Pears to Rolanberry Red will achieve Grape Purple. I've been feeding this bird nonstop since they were implemented and I've bounced around 12 colors already. I've tried taking people's advice, following charts using RGB calculators and none of it has given me any real progress towards this color. I'm at a loss if this gives me something random that hasn't been listed because I just don't know what to feed to put me there.

If someone is available to talk to me and help me when my bird spits out in 2 hours, or can give me a better feeding to do before he becomes ready now I would appreciate it.

He ended up with millioncorn yellow for some reason. any reason why? was there not enough fruit procs maybe? also, where should he go from here to get either dalamud red or midnight blue? dalamud red would probably be easier to obtain im guessing.

Millioncorn Yellow is in the right path but you are right, that's short quite a few pallettes.

I'd try to stuff him with just reds, after getting the proc message. This might be a two feed process (One of my FC members had this problem, too; RNG was involved and she ended up with Pumkin).
Feed it as many reds as you can; I'd say around 15 or so (Given that, if things are as someone mentioned above, the proc message alone may not be enough). Then wait and see what color you get. You're looking to get Blood Red, which is on the way up to Dalamud.

Once you hit Blood Red by feeding it only red fruits, feed it 1 single feather proc of blue and it'll be Dalamud red (Another person before you had this problem; she finally got it earlier).

finally got soot black from deepwood green with 1 valfruit!!!! ty everyone who came up with the ways to reach the color. I wish everyone who wants that color the best of luck and be 100x luckier than I was.
