It's because you can't blist someone you've received a friend request from. If they hit you with the friend request, then spam /t you and log off quickly you don't have time to blist them. And if you're not paying attention and accidentally accept the invite they can flood your mail with spam ads.

I stopped reporting bots, nothing ever seems to happen to them. I have reported the same bot over and over, yet every day, there he is..... in Urth's gift killing the same 4 bats over and over and over again. If you are on midgaurd, check it out sometime. You can't tell me this isn't a RMT spirit bonding to make materia for sale. Oh well, back to SB'ing the good old fashioned way.... without a bot.

Like i said before.. its applicable if said person is a player. but this is clearly an automated system of which is spamming the same message to random individuals. So in theory. i could have kept it up, but its people like this that destroy the forum community too. if the person was an actual individual i would have happily blanked it. but its not. and it clearly shows that its not, if anyone could have complained, it woulda been Nooshka. but yet of all complains was the name of the char? and not the site being advertised?

much confuse. Anyway, i removed it from the OP, but its been re=quoted so its still visible. so no skin off my back so to speak.

why not shame someone who, even by the recognisable name alone, is famous for RMT spam? They use the same names across all worlds so it should be SE at fault here for not having a tighter watch over gsdgsdg, goldceo, sdfsd, and so on. We ALL know these to be RMT and bots.

but as for the friend reqs yeah it happened on my world (midgardsormr) a little while ago but not much recently. figured maybe people are more inclined to report the douche when its harder to ignore.

Posting seeking to damage or disparage Square Enix, the forum, FINAL FANTASY XIV, or others.

It, in no way shape or form, gives you the authority to determine if they were a person or not. It also does not give you the authority to suddenly break the rule because you're assuming they are a bot. It doesn't matter if they are a bot at all and never once in the ToS does it make an exclusion for bots.
