My friend has been having a TON of trouble getting feather messages with fruit. He's at royal blue and has used at least 50 fruit trying to darken the color. Sometimes, when the fruit DOES proc, (as in, there's a feathers message) there's no cutscene of his choco when the timer's up. So there's no color change. What's going on here?

A better question is, what color is he aiming at?
He might need to move to the red or green side of the wheel depending on what he's aiming at, assuming his blue is capped (I am assuming this stuff caps eventually).
