UPDATE:
Deepwood Green + 1 Valfruit = Ink Blue.

I think it's a bit of RNG between two colours. I dislike and like how rare Soot Black is.

I'm in the same loop between Deepwood Green and Ink Blue.
Anyone got any tips?

From what I've registered from people and have on my chart, many are in the Midnight Blue - Kobold Brown - Ink Blue - Deep Green loop.

From what I can recall most that have not had loops (none I've found on the forums) was going from Currant Purple (feed pineapple to feather proc) to Soot Black, and Marsh Green (feed berries to feather proc) to soot black.

Tried to get soot black. Can't get it. Tried all sorts of "methods" posted here and elsewhere. I just keep getting void blue, midnight blue and whatnot. Worst of all is I had midnight blue, fed it till I got the feather message, came back six hours later and never got an animation. It stayed midnight blue. Clearly the RNG gods are telling me my chocobo wants to be that color so I surrender. lol *waves white flag*

Storm Blue.... still trying for Void Blue, but I'll share my results.



Start: Royal Blue
20 - O'Ghomoro Berry
10 - Xelphatol Apple
9 - Mamook Pear
Result: Storm Blue

This thread is so huge now! Anyway, I had been attempting to get Morbol green, after a lot of back and forth from Moss, to Apple, to Cactaur, I finally made it to Ochu green.

I used a lot of berries, pears and a few apples (I think less than 10 total) so I cannot tell you -exactly- what I used to get there.

However:

From Ochu Green, I fed Berries till first notice, The next result was Hunter Green. (1 berry in my case.)

From Hunter, I fed berries until first notice and I got Morbol! (This took me 3 berries.)

And now Kukuchi is what I envisioned him to be, ever since I started playing 11! A fine Jennet.

How would I get from Pumpkin Orange to Dalamud Red? Anyone able to help?

I would suggest seperate feeding sessions. Feed him apples til proc. that should put you at susnet.
feed him apples til proc, should put you at blood red.
feed berries til proc. should have dalamund.

Not sure if this one has been posted up yet but here ya go, managed to get my chocobo to the color of Lavender Purple. I thought it was kind of odd cause I haven't seen this one on any of the guides yet, might just be some kind of in-between colors. I got it by feeding my chocobo O'Ghomoro Berry's, stopping each time in started to grow new feathers and then feeding it again after it changed. Took about 11 total I believe.
