TBH, I don't like the look of any of the i100 PvP gear, with the only notable exception of the Lionsmane set... which, unfortunately, also happens to be the only DoW class I refuse to level (EW, MAGICK).

In fact, I'm not a fan of most of the armor designs for anything released post-2.0. Most of it is too busy, too excessive, too flashy compared to the old gear from 1.0, which looked much more grounded and realistic in comparison. I will forever be a sad panda if they never go back to some more grounded designs in the future.

Personally, I'm the of the opposite opinion. This is a fantasy game of magic and make-believe creatures. I prefer fun, detailed, dramatic designs over plain t-shirts and cotton pants.

na i dont think he means that plain. its just that the gear they designed doesn't match well together so it looks "busy" or awkward. for instance the SCH/SMN set has triangles and polka dots. and then on top of that it mixes, satin, with leather with fur ... then to add to their "Christmasy" effect they stick a "deer" carcass on your back, and then to add to the "you're wearing roadkill" look, they included carcass legs that blow in the wind as you run.also, they didn't put not just one deer head, but TWO deer heads on your headpiece and one of them is so obnoxious it looks like they slaughtered Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer's head and glued it on there with Elmer's glue. and the book? well, it just looks like you're about to read some kids a bedtime story about Rudolph.

they can make it look fun, detailed and dramatic designs while still making it coordinated. but ya i get what you mean and i agree i like it to look "magicky" too, but i think they could have done better with their fashion designing.
