Feed it Fruit to push the magenta hues up (or to remove the green to give you red and blue hues)
and then Berries to drive it purple.
How certain are you though? Because looking at the RGB values of both Ink blue is R22 G26 B34 and Grape is R52 G36 B54. I've gone through such a mix of colors I'm just afraid of throwing myself even farther away because these values are definitely the closest I've gotten. I was originally thinking I have to lighten blue and red and keep green close to the same but given the list I have written down I feel like I'm going through this process backwards thinking.
Oh I know your pain. I have been doing that with achieving rolanberry. But this handy dandy site hasn't failed me yet! (with baby steps i am getting closer.) http://colorizer.org/
Put in your RGB values in the left for the color your bird is now ( i used the ink blue 22 26 34). Move the Magenta slider in the CYMK section toward the magenta, then move the blue up in the RGB. The box at the bottom should be a purple hue yes?
So if we know:
Red= Apples/Green= Pears/Blue = Berries
Plums = Cyan/Fruit= Magenta/Pineapple = yellow.
if you boosted the magenta feed it Fruit.
if you Boosted blue feed it berries.
I used this to go from pumpkin to Sunset and Sunset to dalamud. Mostly because again with out knowing what exact amount to feed to push it the the color world you are the mercy of color RNG!
Also Yes, well aware there is a rolanberry formula...however, when i started there was not one!
You could be conservative and just deepen everything a couple times with Apple/Pear/Berry x2. Your ratios will still be off but everything will be closer to your target.How certain are you though? Edit - Bah...completely wrote the opposite of what I meant. You would want to LIGHTEN with Pineapple/Valfruit/Plums. Again, this would knock your colors closer you to your target (green might be spot on and then you'd only need to tinker with blue and red).

I meant 2 of each type of fruit. I imagine you'll get feather procs on some or all of the feedings since there are so many colors in the nearby ranges.
Feeds that "deepen" make that fruits color go UP in numbers not down. I can say this from personal experience. I posted this on page 188. Fed it nothing but Oh'gamarro Berries (deepen blue), and the blue value went up since I was getting UI Brown > Gobbiebag Brown > Shale Brown > Goobue Grey > Corpse Blue.
If Desert Yellow has a blue value of 87 like the chart says it does, I can't possibly have a color that requires a blue value to be near 135 if "deepen" feeds make me go down.
I've been using the chart and have been right on the money for saying which color will come next after I get the new feathers message for every single color so far. I'm not saying I'm 100% right, but if I am wrong, please explain how I got to Shale Brown from Desert Yellow feeding it only Berries. Shale Brown's red and green value are lower than Desert Yellow, while it's blue value is much higher and once again I only used Berries at this point.
