Add ability to "Abandon" leves to confirm DF participation

Just waited over 1 hour for Coil Turn 5...due to lack of players... in duty finder... so i decided to work on my other job's Sky book II which required I do "Don't Forget to Cry" leve in Bluefog.

I signed up to do the leve on SMN, but was registered waiting in queue for the Duty Finder as BLM; no problem right... well....

As it turns out, after one hour of waiting, and smack dab in the middle of my leve, the duty finder pops up waiting for me to confirm participation... I then quickly try to abandon my leve and i get an error message telling me I am unable to abandon the leve since I was also in the duty finder... w/ 30 secs remaining, I couldn't do anything but watch the timer go to zero... losing my long awaited spot in the duty finder... I was then able to abandon (but why bother at that point since I had already lost my spot in duty finder participation)... wtf???

What's the logic SE, if you want us to participate in other activities/content (such as leves, under OTHER jobs) but also wait in the duty finder under a different job... but can't abandon a leve while waiting on the duty finder when we receive the confirmation box... only to lose our spot and have to start all over again, with the understanding at this point that leves are out of the question under those conditions???

Please look into this... I fail to see the logic of preventing you to abandon a leve, when duty finder participation requires confirmation.... players should have the option to A) abandon the leve (of course no refunds on allowances used) B) then switch to the class that registered under the duty finder and then C) be able to actually confirm after switching to the appropriate job....

Now back to waiting another 30mins to an hour... in the duty finder.

I can confirm duty finder participation while doing a levequest - it makes me autofail the duty

Did you not even try to click Confirm to enter your DF queue?

They queued as BLM and did leve on SMN and were unable to abandon duty manually. While this is an issue I didn't know existed, there is nothing preventing you from changing jobs during a leve as long as you are not engaged in combat.
