This is the issues with paid online services. There are going to be instances where you cannot use it, weather it be a network issue, hardware problem, someone has a car accident and takes a pole down, mother nature dumps an ice storm on you and you lose power for weeks at a time, etc, etc... Where does it stop? It doesn't. Your best bet, which I have done with my cable provider, is call them and talk to an actual person and explain the situation. Sometimes they give you something, sometimes they say tough. My cable provider actually gave a bit of a refund when we lost power for almost 2 weeks due to a storm. But if any of this is explained in a ToS and you clicked accept, well you bought the farm, and you are SOL.
