The Lominsan Way-Gladiator advice

Hey all,
I need advice on how to beat The Lominsan Way Duty Battle as a Gladiator because when i get the Large Boulder to 50% health the quest giver spawns a Bomb that'll self-destruct in 15 seconds and even when i switch targets instantly i get the bomb to 25% health then it self-destructs destroying the Small Boulder causing me to fail the Duty Battle and it's really getting on my nerves.

Basically, stun the bomb when it tries to use Self Destruct with Shield Bash (gained at level 18 GLA). Hitting it with Shield Bash will basically make it stop casting Self Destruct, and then just wail on it.

The only problem is if you take too long killing it it may try using Self Destruct again, but you should be able to destroy it before that happens or try to stun it again with Shield Bash, but the more you use a status-causing ability on an enemy, it gradually builds a resistance to that effect. So after the first time it's not recommended to keep using that attack over and over again.

I didn't notice any timer because the "bomb" is a non-attacking sphere with what looks like electricity in it and it only gives self-destruct warning at 15,10 and 5 seconds.

This is a low 30's quest, right? Building up to the Titan fight? You should really have your Paladin crystal by now. Not only does it give you a nice boost to your base stats, it also comes with Sword Oath, a stance that increases damage from your auto-attack. You might need to level Conjurer a bit to be able to pick up the quest (at the same place you get your class quests), but trust me, it's worth it.

Other than that, make sure your equipment's up to date and save Fight or Flight for when the bomb happens. Maybe swap in Str accessories if you're really desperate.
