So i'm doing my own experiment here to see what i get by feeding my chocobo, berries until i get one "new feather" proc. I'm hoping to get corpse blue at some point.

Corpse Blue is on my color mapping spreadsheet. You can see it here

It can take you 5 - 7 feeding sessions to get to Lavender Purple with Berries, and 1 final session with Plums. Feed one type of snack til the New Feathers message occurs and wait 6 hours, repeat until desired color

Awesome, thank you! So keep feeding berries until 1 proc, wait 6 hours and repeat until lavender purple? THEN on the next 6hr feed, feed it the plums one at a time until i get to corpse blue? I still do not understand this but i'll go with it xD

You have to dump the traditional RGB scale out of the equation completely.

Yes, exactly, but at lavender just once again feed Plums until the new feathers message, and your Choco should turn out corpse blue after the 6 hours!
