Edit: Wait, I got what you were trying to say. So, how did you apply this to your chocobo? Did you get the 'feathers' message? Details please?
Think it's like this.
http://www.calculatorcat.com/free_ca...r_slider.phtml
Plum -R +G +B,
Apple +R -G -B
Valfruit +R -G +B
Pear -R +G -B
Pineapple +R +G -B
Berries -R -G +B

Basically it's saying:
Plum - Lightens red hues but at the same time increases green and blue hues.
Apple - Deepens red hues but at the same time lessens green and blue hues.
Valfruit - Lightens green hues but at the same time increases red and blue hues.
Pear - Deepens green hues but at the same time lessens red and blue hues.
Pineapple - Lightens blue hues but at the same time increases red and green hues.
Berries - Deepens blue hues but at the same time lessens red and green hues.

If this is true, then feeding my chocobo a Valfruit or 20, from honey yellow, should make him purple or red?Basically it's saying:
Plum - Lightens red hues but at the same time increases green and blue hues.
Apple - Deepens red hues but at the same time lessens green and blue hues.
Valfruit - Lightens green hues but at the same time increases red and blue hues.
Pear - Deepens green hues but at the same time lessens red and blue hues.
Pineapple - Lightens blue hues but at the same time increases red and green hues.
Berries - Deepens blue hues but at the same time lessens red and green hues.
If you click the link you'll get the color chart. I had given my chocobo all 3 fruits to start off with in an attempt to get white and this led to bone white which made it look like it had cancer. It also happened to still be a bit heavy on the yellow side. Then the next time i gave it more pineapple based solely on speculation and this turned it back to a deeper yellow, cream yellow. So in order for it to turn a deeper yellow and not just max out at white it means that green and red sliders had to increase while the blue slider decreased. To cancel that out I gave him a rotation of valfruit>plum>valfruit>plum 10 of each and I ended up with white.
I didn't want to trade him all one color then all the next because if i were to hit a color cap and then trade the other fruit it would skew the slider depending on the last fruit I fed it.
