Should rare gear from 1.0 be available to everyone?

I think it should my reasoning is because 1.0 was broken. It's like thinking end content gear should only be available to coil.

I don't understand why everyone wants all the gearz regardless of how limited/rare their status is. They were there in 1.0, they stuck through it, that gear is the only thing they have left from 1.0, let them have it.
This game doesn't need to get any more copy&paste looking gear wise.

No. I wasn't there for 1.x, I don't deserve any of the perks they have, as much as I'd have loved to be there, I wasn't able to be, why should us new 2.x players get the rewards that they were given? It's absurd.

To be honest, they've made most of the 1.0 gear available again. Previous years' Yukatas are available to buy with gil, Goobbue mount is available, Onion doublet set can be obtained through retainers etc etc.

I'm sure any anniversay celebrations will allow people to get the Dalamud Horn etc.

No it's not, it's nothing like thinking that and even then both of them should remain as is.

Want 1.0 gear? Should have played 1.0. I want it, didn't play it, lost out. Tough.

Want end-game gear? Do coil. Not happy about it? Tough.

The Goobue is noticeably different, as for the yukatas I can't say a whole lot on that, I didn't even know they were the 1.x versions, if that's true then no, they shouldn't have been brought back imo, and for the retainer as far as I know of, it's only the red onion helm, which again is noticeably different from the 1.x version, doesn't have to be agreed with but that's what I think, I also think that the lightning and shantoto/DQX events shouldn't be brought back either -shrugs-

The onion doublet set has been confirmed from retainers also. The red onion helm was something you could get in 1.0 by collecting deaspected crystals, which was part of the dalamud falling storyine.

The Goobue is a bit of a sore subject. SE made several statements that the Goobbue mount was only available for a limited time in 1.0. Then during 2.0 making another Goobbue mount and saying "Look it's completely different: See the flowers on its head?". While the mounts are slightly different, and it is very slight, it still feels like SE have deliberately misled the 1.0 players.
