Okay, while I do support a tackle box for fishing, I think it needs to be something OTHER than a simple expansion of inventory for bait.

Rather than the above, I think it needs to work like this:

The Tackle Box needs to work similar to how choosing a bait does now, but instead of selecting a bait item from your inventory it needs to select a lure from a set of lures that you acquire and "use" (similar to minions and mounts) to bind to your character permanently.

From there, it needs to consume GP to "equip" a certain lure from said tackle box. This way GP is useful for Fishing and provides a different gate to higher grade fish rather than RNG + really high Gathering and Perception. While these need to also be met, the GP requirement for lures could help ease this numbers down a little.


Just a thought, still support the idea as a whole.

Nah, but im sure if we keep pestering they will get off their duffs and reply eventually. Though im sure it will be the same "there are no plans to implement..." bollox we see quite often. The fact that this thread has gone so far with no reply is sad in itself.

That is one thing that I seem to notice sometimes, see a response on things that don't seem to be that important vs. something like this. Were not asking for glamours or vanity gear or a Gamera like mount from Fishing achievement. Just for lures and baits to not take up regular inventory space.

Absolutely needed I have 30 spaces of fishing equipment and I could have another 20 or so spots if I wanted all the fishing lures and bait(all the lures and bait in game) with me at all times if I decide I feel like fishing.
