GC Elite Gear - Alteration to Cost?

Exactly this. It's in line with the effort/prices for most other very high-end vanity gear in the game. (swimsuits, augmented AF, crafted sets from venture-only materials, etc.)
There's no need to change the cost of these pieces; if you want them you'll have to work for them. There's more than enough other glamour gear in the game, and the purpose of these is exclusively for personal vanity and/or social status.
