Well that sucks... good for midtier crafters, useless for highend then, more or less just useless fillerJust pointing this out.

3 CP only matters for me on 3 star synths, and the only time it would make a difference is when I had exactly two good conditions in the first 17 steps. Otherwise they're 5 control over my current melds, I think I'll end up using them.
I don't get why these are DoH only? Why not make them all classes like the spectacles so we can use them in cool glamours? I love the look of them, with the feathers and such, but I like the look of the AF gear and don't generally glamour over them...

Model seems to be identical to the Ehcatl Wristgloves so if you want them for glamor you can do so from the moment you unlock the ixali beast tribe quests.
The Ehcatl Wristgloves are also DoH only, so they cannot be glamoured onto non-DoH gear (or at least, they won't show unless you're a DoH class)

This will barely impact any sort of materia market; not only are the Ehcatl gloves inferior to fully-melded AF, but AF gloves are probably the cheapest of all the DoH gear pieces to fully meld.
No probably there - they ARE the cheapest. Only three materia required, none of them 4s, with two free slots.
Just give the gloves +3 CP and I'll be so happy about the armory chest space I'll save! I don't care about the money or the stats, I just want to save armory chest space :P

Good.
The necessity of crafters to have fully-max-melded everything in order to even craft any of the higher tier stuff is frankly disgusting. Especially on top of the plain idiotic requirement to spend a huge number of seals buying crafting materials when i90 gear is available frighteningly cheap for allied seals.
You buy crafting materials with seals? I always bought them with gil from the MB in large quantities and then turned them into more gil through the magic of crafting. Guess I've been doing it wrong all this time!
