Now that we've had some time to test the changes how do we feel about Aetherflow?

i basically couldn't use aetherflow until i needed to spam lustrate

Is that a bad thing? In most cases that's what Lustrate was used for - to spam back to back to back. This just discourages SCH's from using it as soon as it's ready and then having 6 potential stacks ready when that burst comes.

getting 1, maybe 2, lustrates off (provided there are no healing debuffs on you) and having Aetherflow possibly on cd for up to 60 seconds while multiple enemy players that include any PLD/MNKs yes, that could be a bad thing. because having to stop to get a cast off, only to get stunned or getting interrupted and having to rely on Eos heals, if she is even around, yes, that can be really bad.

I'll still give it a try to see if its as bad as the guy said it is, but yes i can think of several scenarios where that could be bad.

Well this might be one of those things you have to get used to but the basic scenario has been. Have aetherflow stacks->get one lim punched->getting attacked by 4 people->aetherflow->lus...one lim punched->die
again it might just take some getting used to but as of right now i found it nearly impossible to effectively use lustrate or sacred soil on either myself or another party member. this isn't as if it's just luck that the monks noticed me, i'm already targeted therefor they can see when i have aetherflow stacks and can just knock them off. it really feels discouraging at this point that one of the basic mechanics of arcanist is being undermined forcing an already difficult to master pvp class that much more challenging. it's kind of like when they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger but how much stronger do you really need to be?

well ... i mean if you have no Aetherflow stacks then you just have no Aetherflow stacks lol, its not like irl where there are actually open choices where you can make your own rules. Now we're nerfed down to relying on casts as counting on a lustrate isn't always reliable

Where are your tanks? Paladin can stun and Warrior (Maruader) can Holmgang and stun. Are they too busy in killing and forgot about their role?

Tanks are even better when they remember they can both say "Get away from him/her/zer!" with Glory Slash and Mythril Tempest.
