If everyone is peachy and gealthy i'd go ahead of the group and solo mobs. I technically know by heart which stuff can be binded, slept etc lol so i use tht knowledge when i pull a mob ahead. I sometimes spam holy then switch to single dps on 1 enemy etc. once the group rejoins me, most of the enemies r at 70-80% so thts something lol.
Don't even say tht oh but ur making the tank's job harder. Lol if i'm not dying/ close to dying then i think the tank shouldn't freak out in the slightest.
Rememberrr! 6.7k hp whm feels no pain when it comes to dungeon mobs lol. Like what am i, a 4.2k hp sch? Lollll

If you don't DPS when you can freely DPS, then it means your lazy.

I get commodations for the fact I dps and heal all the time. If someone is giving you slack for because you aren't standing there waiting for health to drop then they are the problem not you.

Especially in lower level dungeons I would get bored to tears if I wasn't casting stone and Aero on all the mobs while waiting for someone to heal...

Yes really. Standing around doing absolutely nothing when you could help is lazy. And this is coming from someone who's main jobs are white mage and scholar.

Unstoppable WHM dps. Fluid aura every 30 seconds and all.

But if a bard pulls aggro and proceeds to kite in any direction other than towards the tank, then I'll usually accidentally let him die on purpose.

Does anybody else like to play chicken with the tank's life in DF 8-man runs? I always win. And when I don't win, everybody loses.

If the party's alive, who cares what they say? Do what you want.
