[To the DEVS] Global Summoning system: Has it been scrapped?

Perhaps it's another form of a Limit Break but Primal Style or used in the same way XII or XI used Summons. I'm pretty sure SE will make adjustments to the Primals so it's not OP.

Also, the info the primals themselves in game isn't fully understand-ed yet. Like Bahamuth, Odin. Who worship them enough to give them life?

I don't know what game you're talking about but if you think they've ever added content that serves no purpose in this game... then that's laughable.

What does fishing serve outside of being able to do more fishing? You hit level 50 fishing and just put it away for ever or do more fishing. Fishing serves no other purpose, it even is a poor way to make gil.

The sightseeing log, less than 2000 peopel world wide have completed it. Seems widely popular to me....... /sarcasm off

None of those materials are exclusive to fishing. Fishing still sucks pretty hard.

Fishing is just one example.

What about daily mark bills? Those seem worthless to me. How many Ramuh EX parties do you see in PF? I don't see many if any at all. SE releases content all the time that is DoA

Also, in response to the OP, I don't think summoners want this huge game-breaking experience like you describe. It sounds more to me like they want a pet job similar to ffix's summoner, where the summon was actually a decent size, looked like their larger counterparts, and did better attacks/more damage. One similar complaint I've seen is that they're mostly DoT attackers, which is also very different from previous iterations of summoner. They're just looking for a more final fantasy-esque type of summoner, but not necessarily one that requires a 10 minute intro video a la KotR.

I wish it was decent styled primal class, but the open world summoning of primals is actually what Yoshida was talking about (and OP). lol

Yoshida brought it up a long time ago even before FCs were in the game :P.

It's been mentioned in an interview recently basically they are waiting for the story to progress to a point where it'll be logical for primals to be roaming the land as they intended.

I remember this too. Also I think they still trying to figure out the mechanics of FC summons. It's still on the table though so that's good news.

I don't have sources but from the info all I can remember...

When a Primal is up the weather changes in the zone (like Odin). A Free Company can catch the Primal. The FC is then able to summon the Primal ONCE. If summoned in a dungeon, the dungeon will be automatically completed. Once summoned the Primal is released back into the open world.

This is still scheduled and not forgotten about, I know it was mentioned in recent months too.

I take it you dont like fishing. fair enough. Thank you for your opinion. I don't see why, since you find it pointless, it should be removed from the game. Yes I'm putting words in your mouth but if you think it is so pointless, like the sightseeing, why should it stay?
