Yeah, I figured you might not see my post that way. Sometimes I feel like I have to add a disclaimer to some posts as there are many in this community that would have taken offense to less than what I had to say.I didn't take your comment that way. That's a good point and I didn't see that. I just thought it to be rather odd to make a letter regarding them then not speak of them again in over two months. (Which is a few weeks ago in Cairdeas time.)
Hopefully there will be a small mention of them this week before update.
They have to keep a few secrets/surprises so when the update patch notes comes in you guys all go OMFG NO WAYZZZZZ
Well, Yoshida DID say SP was going to be "not so good" for a while. So that just might be the case.
Hopefully news tomorrow. Assuming the patch is this week.
And here they are: http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com...82e6451a41044ePatch 1.18 is looking pretty hefty and looks like it will keep many of us pretty busy already with what was previewed on the Lodestone front page, but in the beginning of May it was said that we'd be getting Questhubs.
Were these encampments swept under the rug? Were they pushed back to be implemented along side the beast tribe strongholds? It's been a long time since we got any mention of them again when there was a whole letter from the producer dedicated to them.
Any information would be appreciated! Also, are any of you excited for questhubs? How do you think this will tie into character progression? Or do you feel like they will mostly be side stage content that will also double as giving the field terrain more uniqueness? Personally, I feel the world needs a bit more uniqueness and an incentive to get people away from city-states once in a while. We seem to be stuck in them due to them being the most active areas anywhere in all of the already implemented world.
haha! It would happen the day AFTER I start getting impatient. And here they are: http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com...82e6451a41044e
My thing about Quest Hubs is, are they going to be just another dull source of endless low level content? While Dzemael Darkhold is the only content for above r45? Or will these quest hubs tier up by rank. Some of the higher level quests in the game (side-quests) weren't really worth it...the fact they didn't use the term sidequest once is giving me a little hope.
Sidequests are going to give SP anyways :PMy thing about Quest Hubs is, are they going to be just another dull source of endless low level content? Peach Parfait/Khulan Angura on Gilgamesh
The SP isn't worth it really for most quest though, even now, this bonus sp sounds good in theory, but for me to really touch the quests I'm going to need them to be kinda tough to the point where I can group up with my friends. Quest hubs at first were hinted as group content. I just would like to know if there will be higher level group content, as most of the stuff they've implemented so far is for people below 30.
