Please bring Blitzball to this game

i was going to suggest the same thing, they should introduce blitzball to the game like a pvp instance or something

Personally, I don't see it happening, given the fact blitzball was an integral part of FFX's storyline and gameplay - it would have be altered so much to fit into FFXIV without just coming across as a cynical attempt to bait FFX fans. The very concept of it just doesn't suit FFXIV's setting at all.

Now a card game like Triple Triad on the other hand, does (in fact, Yoshi confirmed a card game is already in development). But blitzball I'm afraid just doesn't suit FFXIV.

What about the gold saucer, lightning events, and shantotto?

i think having something at least similar to blitzball would be great. Having some form of sport would add an interesting new twist on pvp.

That game was awful, bout as much action as watching grass grow. Sorry but it was boring as heck playing that.

It would definitely be nice to have a non violent sporting option in this game. With competition and rankings. And it certainly would make things interesting between Free companies and grand companies. You could have seasons and minor and major league games, championship grand company games to boot. Would be sweet!
