Trend Noticed to help combat RMT

At least on my server if you search by area (particularly Uldah/thanalan)
and scroll down the list, at the bottom will be about 16 Thaumaturges
either all in the same FC or no FC at all. Queing up for dungeons to
farm off of. (you know all identical crafted gear, sometimes the same model
etc) I had seen them before and reported, but this is the first time I noticed
the search function in use of spotting them I just happen to notice they hang
out more in the Thanalan areas lately.

Hope this brings some more attention to some much needed RMT clean
up actions.

Might be better to post it here http://support.na.square-enix.com/co...382&la=1&fty=2 and give them detailed info as to the innocent til proven guilty claims, since you can't outright assume they are RMT even if they give an RMT vibe off but if you file a report they could look into it and determine if they are indeed RMT.

I constantly notice groups of 8 or more suspicious players(Often near the border from Mor Dhona to Northern Shroud).

And these groups are always clones with super random/retarded names...I notice a lot of them near the Mor Dhona border though.

BtW, I will have to ty the search function as well...never tried that one.

I haven't gotten many RMTs lately. Use to get like 3 a day. Now its like, twice a week. Its died down quite a bit. Good job Square Enix.

Something tells me having enough gil to start an FC isn't a problem for them.

It's kinda weird that they would spend their time doing that though; I'm not sure how it would benefit them, since they're only point to doing it would be to convert gil more quickly to sell to players. I'm not understanding how the FC helps, unless they're just using it for the Company Chest.

It's this. company chest is the easiest way to transfer money and items between characters.

Yeah yeah! I've seen those on Cactuar too. Started out with names like Cac Aaa, Cac Aab, etc. but now their names are getting more complicated, like Cactbuc Ccc, so I guess there's more. They definitely hang around in the Ul'dah aetheryte plaza most of the time. They pop in, stand there for a minute, then all queue and all disappear.

Though I did witness an interesting thing a few weeks ago. One ran in to the Hall of Flames, was suddenly in a Free Company, then one by one others would run in, the first would target them, they'd join the same FC, then the extra ones would just log out. It's scary how coordinated they are.
