vote abandon/leaving punishment

One, I thought It was hilarious about the gil repairing part, and two whether you read up on a fight or watch a video - neither helps as much as actual experience, you realize? You guys act like you were never new, like you were just magically fantastic at a fight because you watched a video or "read up" on a fight. Someone In DF taught you how to do the fights you know today, maybe not all of them but thats my point here, less and less people are willing to help and If you don\\'t want to help but enter DF and then leave because people don\\'t know the fight, repeatedly, then yeah, you should get a penalty for leaving over and over. Like I said before, don\\'t enter DF If you don\\'t want to help, stay out of It If you\\'re going to be an elitist lol, hence why removing vote abandon or even giving longer penalty would help more newbies or just people trying to learn a fight. I personally think voting abandon, for one guy that throws a hissy fit, not to get a penalty Is abusing It lol.

if you payed attention to what i said at all, i didnt say anything about not wanting to deal with new players. i ran garuda blind, someone told me the basic mechanics, and i learned it that way. if i was forced to stay in, because someone decided to get rid of the abandon/leave feature, i wouldnt even do it. ive started up PF for learning parties, so that people can learn the fight, because i dont expect people to just know. i expect improvement, and if you can wipe in the same spot, at the same time, 4 times in a row, there is a problem, and someone is not learning or paying attention. there is no reason i should be forced to stay in an instance when there are people there that dont care.

and adding a worse penalty is going to make it worse. why join if you think there might be a chance that you get locked out for an hour. and i already know a way out of that anyways. so, does it bother me, no. because ive already found a way around it.

to end it, i have no problem helping, i actually like teaching people who want to learn. but its those people that just want a carry or have no interest in improving, and you can tell when those people show up. i shouldnt be forced to stay in an instance with them because somebody doesnt like that people leave because they are new.

Was doing Garuda ex last night helping a FC member farm his ring both pretty much garuda pros the second we enter both tanks called OT then fought for five mins about it cause "neither of them MT" w/etf that means pld finally decided to MT but assured us we couldnt win cause of one new person first try we got to 56% and wiped due to pld being double WW then he reassured himself it was impossible sat and told us to boot him. This is blatent abuse of kick period. So we being the kind souls we are practiced with the new person and let pld sit and waste 30+ mins anyways he finally got mad and left catching his 30 min punishment anyways. We then decided there was no point waiting and abandoned. His name was Joey Uzumaki and plays on Jenova with my brd avoid him like the plague ^^

You clever way around it is forcing a kick by d/cing or sitting yeah? Lol blatent abuse if so and you should and hopefuly will be banned for it

no, its called leaving and playing an alt. good try, though. or crafting, either way im not waiting for the lockout to lift, im doing something completely different. it also might be possible to log off and have the ban lifted. i havent tried that yet, but it might work too.
