And this is where the difference in perspective lies between 1.xx fishers and Yoshi's new breed of "fishers."

Assira, imagine if you will a game where fish and fishing isn't absolutely useless. Where you can decide one day to go fishing not because there's a chance for a chance for a chance for a chance for a chance to catch a fish that might give you the chance for a chance for a super speshul bikini. Instead, you go fishing because your friends want to make food, or want to break it down into crystals or shards. Or maybe you want to fish because you can catch materia catalysts with it, or you're running low on shards (of all types), or because you're running low on money and you know that the Navigator's Ears off the southern coast of Bald Knoll are selling like hotcakes because of the Hamlet Defenses right now.

Yoshi has ruined fishing. Plain and simple. The fact that newer players treat this as normal is sad. Desidious doesn't "just want the fish," he wants a system where it's worth a damn to fish in the first place.
