So you're saying make parsers legal and no one will ever abuse it ever? Just like fates, hunts, or ilvl?
I still think that SE needs to get off their high horse in regards to parsers and other modern tools for gamers who want to improve their gameplay. It's not the end of the world if someone asks you to improve your DPS. You just do it, and then no one ever "harasses" you about it ever again.
Plus ive never seen Anyone provide good advice after using a parser aside from "Do more dps."
Thanks for proving my point. Please continue to amuse me.

They have already made a definitive statement about parser's in regards to FFXIV as of April 3rd, 2014:
I know many say 'if you don't talk about it you're fine and you can use them', but regardless of what they think, SE has said it is against ToS and is a cheat, period.Although we will continue to monitor game data to ensure that similar illegitimate practices are not being used, we would like to remind players that using third-party programs, parsers, or other tools to conduct actions players would not normally be able to do in the game is a violation of the Terms of Service, and will be dealt with strict disciplinary action.
Players who discover any confirmed cheats should, under no circumstances, exploit or disseminate such information. Instead, we ask that players file a report by using the in-game command [System Menu] -> [Support Desk] -> [Contact Us] -> [Report Cheating].

I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.
And for the record, I don't care if someone wants to use a parser to improve their play. But if you have to tell someone their numbers arent big enough, then just resub to WoW and play the UI
For all the "this isn't hard" I see from "hardcore" players, y'all sure like to push on the parsing.
I see a lot of whining about ps4 this and ps4 that..... How about get a PC then.
Stance is a no but yet you are still complaining..... As ppl said the only way SE knows you are using it if you talk about it

Not only pure parsing, but also plugins that call out boss moves... like that Twintania thing... probably exist similar for Second Coil turns too.And for the record, I don't care if someone wants to use a parser to improve their play. PS4 is a casual, laid back way to play the game. You'll probably do yourself good by doing this "top level" raiding via PC.
I recommend OP on building a PC. By building a PC you'll be able to use a parser to aid you in your in devours.
PS3 limitations
Read through half of this thread to realize it's not a parser thread, it's a PS4 limitation thread. Hilarious.I have mumble and my exclusion had nothing to do with Voip. Dont derail the topic. That's why i'm aggravated. I have found a killer fc that is willing to accept despite my inferior hardware but there were at least 2 others that did not even want to consider someone due to ps4. And there is definitely a stigma against us.
I totally have the money to blow on a pc. But why should I have to? I thought they were designing this game to run cross platform.
I'm just asking for a damage meter here in an mmo.
PS4 limitations.
P.S. PS3 limitations too.
PS3 limitations

So OP calls himself a hardcore player and argues about playing on a PS4? GET OUT U CASUAL! =P j/k
Btw, this is more of a community problem rather than yoshi's. Yes, his stance is that ALL 3rd party programs ARE porihibited but unless someone says "hai guys, im using a parser, u cool with that?" there is no way for them to know you are using one unless they hack into your pc, and thus your privacy, so they aren't crazy enough to do that for a game. And I kinda agree with w/e said that the so called Elite FC that u wanted to join would probably not invite you due to *insert random PS4 limitation*.
