To a real MMO player 6 months and even a year is not a long time. If you plan to play for 5 years or even more then waiting and still being able to play while they to bring the game up to where they feel is suitable is no big deal. Most people have no clue how long it takes to develop and test anything. All these negative remarks about how they take too long is ridiculous and straight up rude. If you want this game to be amazing how about we show a bit more support. If you want to sit here and bash them you shouldn't even play the game they make.

Why don't we wait for the post 1.18 Yoshi-P letter? It will be around the usual 2 week mark by the time 1.18 comes out anyway. He already said we will talk about the plans for 1.19 then. Anything until that point is little more than empty speculation.
