    Totally agree, need some sort of customization on gears and characters and horizontal progression with some gears options or side grade. I think FF14 is a great game with tons of great ideas and very good quality of life. But it still has way too many kinks that need to be ironed out. There are plentiful contents now. He really needs to remix some of the old contents and add new vanities, mounts, or gears to mix it up a bit and become less musty. Grinding is not a big deal at all, but we want FUN ADDICTIVE GRIND with randomize gears (Borderlands did great with this). As well as abilities to customized - at the very least give us horizontal options in accessories.

    I think the focus of the game since ARR's launch has been on attracting the masses an creating content that reflects that accessability/casual crowd.

    However over time i believe it will eventually shift to keeping current subscribers, which would then focus more on the endgame, capped, and long waiting veteren's of the game. Which would look more like 1.23, which had harder, challenging, and more high end focus.

    I enjoy the game's pace atm, but it will def need to change tempo once things settle. The games first expansion will really set the standard of things and likely predict how the future content will be.

    My personal opinion is that the direction isn't something that I fully like in some areas, but in others I love. I can deal with the few things I don't like to enjoy the things that I do. I play both this, and WoW so when I start feeling that drain and burn on one I shut the game off and go to the other for a few days/week and then come back just fine. I think the biggest problem right now is the diffence between what we as players envisioned this game would be, and what they as developers envisioned it would be, and let's be honest, player and dev vision has very rarely seen eye to eye

    By saying it's not difficult that means you are claiming to have mastered the content. Saying, "Oh it's scripted 2ezzzzzzz" but never having beaten it means that your word is worth nothing. Sorry, but that's the unfortunate truth of the matter. If you have no experience it just means you're arguing concepts without ever putting it into practice.

    Thanks Curia for allowing me to bring up another point on how the end game in this game and boss fights are absolutely dumb. I also want to thank you for hiding behind an "Alt".
