    You should understand that Hunts is the Flavor of the Month event until 2.4 rolls around. It would be as bad once that patch drops, and things will return to some normalcy (i.e., everyone will abandon it for the next big craze, meaning Coil 10, NIN and new relic upgrade).

    There really doesn't need to be some sort of fix for people abandoning dungeons to do Hunts; people leave dungeons for other reasons too, both RL and in-game. Should they also be punished via Hunts for the same thing? A woman abandons a dungeon without talking straight up to take care of her baby IRL, should she be punished on Hunt rewards because of it? Not being able to reenter a dungeon for a predetermined amount of time after abandoning it is punishment enough.
