the hunts made me hate this community now

I think the implementation of the hunts is providing negative influence to the game.

I just had 2 raids today where people leave the game mid way because a S rank spawned. I also missed 2 S ranks in one of my low level roulette yesterday because I don't want these new players to take forever waiting for another tank.

People are very impatient on the hunt, I am seeing a party of 8 trying to take a S rank by themselves today. I do not ask people to wait others forever for the hunts but that was just too greedy.

I do not expect everyone to be kind to each other like I am, therefore I really think SE should implement new rules to restrain certain people from ruining the game for others.

Abandonment of dungeon should also disable rewards from hunts for 30 minutes, and it would be great if this also works for party finder.

Actually if they claim it, it's theirs effectively. Other people are the greedy ones expecting them to wait.

Waiting 2-4 minutes so that you can share your finding is hard to do.... SE seriously need to add dungeon mark for Hunts that gives more seals than the outdoor counterpart - so people will actually you know, do stuffs for Duty Finder.

The problem is that people want you to share with half the server, and the system does not support that. Contrary to what people want you to believe, there's a limited amount of people/groups who can get full credit. So waiting can be a problem for those who found or engaged it.

This is a weird event... but i agree with Ispano, the greedy ones are those who force the others to wait, the toxic part of the community who will insult you if you don't play how they say, and the rude players who reset marks nullifying the credit, time and effort put by a small group of players or a solo player playing their own way.

I agree there are downsides, but as with most things, how you view it is up to you. I acknowledge that there are certainly a lot of unsavory characters that try their damnedest to troll and be childish/selfish, however there are plenty more people who simply what to approach it in a more social and casual light.

I had a hunting party a couple days ago, and we all were completely aware (as everyone should be) that we wouldn't be able to get full credit for every single mark that came up. Rather than getting upset and raging about people not waiting (because that's selfish), we simply went along our way and tried to find the next A rank who's window was open. During all this, we were talking about our interests, other games, and just being social. This experience has been consistent with me over the past week, when I started hunting, and I have made well over a dozen good friends.

If you insist on focusing on the bad people in any situation (hunts, coil, pvp), then of course you're going to dislike the community more and more. This applies to real life as well. It's a foregone conclusion that there will always be people that "ruin" experiences and fun for others, however you can combat that by not letting it get to you. Focus on the good people you meet and just have a good time doing it, and you might understand the point of this game. Have fun.

I sincerely respect you for this, and it's how everyone should act in that situation. It's good to know there are lots of people who understand that caring for others is much better than caring for themselves.

The Hunt is suppose to be casuals... but the hardcores and everyone else is jumping to the bandwagon causing much stress and pretty much droves of people abandoning duty finders since Hunts give you far greater rewards for so little time.

Actually that was more of just a complain, I do not really expect everyone to wait for others in hunts.
I made this complain because certain people are trying to do hunts they are not even able to finish, the greed driving them perusing such decision disgusted me.

And you can just show up shout for an inv, get a pt and full cred with no problem. I actually got bored of the hunts xD and its not like I'm in 15 ls or something. I'm only in one.

I agree that those people are only a small portion of the community, but we all know that a stain on the pie can completely ruin your appetite. A party member like this can ruin the game for the other 7 in the party. And I am not expecting the game to be free of such selfish players, I am just hoping that the developer can implement certain rules to avoid players to act selfishly. Even the most kindly person can get tired some day, and I do not want to see a Final Fantasy game gets filled with such materialistic players in the future.

I should probably take that part out because that is not the major point I am trying to make here. In our server people wait for others too. In fact, I had parties where people decides to wait minutes for B ranks. These parties usually occurs at late night I am not sure why.
