Why FFXIV: ARR needs spanish support (and likely other languages.)

Most Spanish speaking country's are not very into mmo gaming or are just plain scary/3rd world places. So bbasically they would lose money translating it

and those that do live there and can afford internet? they speak english or french anyways

Yeah because Brazil and Peru are the 100% of South America. You'd like to research how many people from there actually played WoW (paying), and how many in not-so-legal servers, but both having 100% perfect internet connections.
