Party member withdrawal spam needs to stop

This is exactly what I think. Why not just make it separate?

It will cause more issues than it will solve. Once people realize that queue is no longer "insta" they will go right back to the main queue, leaving parties who need replacements out in the cold. No, this has been discussed to death years ago elsewhere and the solution was going back to filtering everyone into the randoms, randomly. The whole idea of "I want a random, but it has to match these conditions" defeats the entire purpose of a random queue.

It's going to take another year or so for SE to learn this valuable lesson, but mark my words, they WILL learn it eventually. The best solution is usually the one where neither side walks away entirely happy. I lose my in-progress fishing, you lose your "random but fresh" random queue.

Please do not generalize saying all tanks are "princesses". There are good tanks out there not on ego trips. I'm one of them. I accept the queue when it pops, and people are still spamming withdraw which means that DPS and/or healers do it too.

Looks like someone is not good at reading comprehension, Unless you can point out to me where i said "All tanks" Seriously, please read posts carefully before you respond to them. As i also said healers do it as well..

DPS are less likely to do it it because chances are they already waited 10-30 minutes and they aren't going to withdraw spam because they may end up being put in the back of the line for another 30 minutes.

How will this cause more issues? If people can queue for in-progress only, they don't have to ruin new groups with their withdrawal spam.

By queuing the specific dungeon you want to do. Really, it's that simple. A *random* duty finder should be just that - *random*. Sometimes you get Tam Tara, sometimes you get Stone Vigil. Sometimes you get a fresh party, sometimes you are filtered into a 2\4 because that's where you are needed. You want to do a full run of a dungeon? You can queue that dungeon, or get a party of your friends together. Putting this in a random duty finder was a silly idea no matter how you look at it.

It's put there to cover legitimate dced players in already progressed instances so the remaining party doesn't lose their hard work. It's not SE fault people are undermining it's true purpose.

I actually seen someone doing this in the bar in M.Dhona.

They were sitting on the fire place and flagging up and down non stop.

I seen the same happening in little Ala also and in costa del sol, I think these people enjoy doing that for some odd reason.

I think what they should do is lock join duty for 5 minutes if they withdrawl more than 3 times.

though that might not work since the game withdrawls for you, so it would have to be you clicking the withdrawl.

You made a generalization, I called you on it. You don't understand why it's a generalization, so I tried explaining it. You are in denial or something and still don't understand it. I'm not going to bother trying to explain it further because no matter what I say in defense my point, you'll stand there with your fingers in your ears and go "lalalala" hoping I'll go away. I'm not going to play that game.

Saying tanks are egomanics is a generalization. Of course not all tanks are egomanics, some are, sure. The way you used "mostly" is where our disagreement lies. I took offense to that because the way you typed it made it seem like you are calling all tanks egotistical. You then compare tanks and healers and say that it's mostly tanks that are egotistical. Meaning there are more egotistical tanks than healers.

Bottom line, don't call all tanks, or healer, or DPS whatever egotistical because that's not true.

As for the topic at hand, I was thinking of something like, if you queue for a roulette and troll people by leaving, maybe you can forfeit the bonus for that day or something. It really is a pain queueing for a dungeon then having people withdraw spam.
