Completely agree. I'd just like to see more life in the LS system cause this is a MMO and in all MMOs games your clan and friends are what make you play hence the name MMO!!
The best linkshells are those with 10-25 members that get shit done in smaller teams, not the larger ones where nobody can agree with each other and you have to pretty much hire a human resources manager to ensure everyone stays active in it and gets in on events.
Gotta agree. In a system where we're bringing 8 people into a dungeon I don't want to play sophie's choice with 250 people.
I agree but my ls currently has 70 members but were' all on daily. Average day is 30-40 members sometimes more we're like really active with no plans of slowing down. We devided the LS up into smaller teams to keep focus high I think you can keep people active as long as you don't let them feel left out... but that's just me
Weekend posts are so boring sometimes...
I honestly don't think people work things out in their heads when they come up with ideas. Other wise post like this would never see the light of day.
It's not like it's an idea totally without merit, but with the Linkshell system the way it is it seems focused on smaller groups.
When they have player run companies then perhaps you can start thinking grand scale "Guilds" and whatnot with rewards for growing so large.
There's some smart thinking Jynx! no frickin ls drama because, no ls! if you have a problem, deal with your leader and have him negotiate, then go back to your own ls and talk without that person being in every conversation you have. Alliance is sort of the thing I have in mind, but I always liked how it gave me an extra chat channel when my ls couldn't fill a full group or just wanted an extra opinion(never from 250 people though, triple digits spells dooooom for a ls and even getting close to 200 in an alliance would seem rather extravagant).
