i'd like my dinner on a clean table with clean dishes thank you. i can handle the wait to get it cleaned, but do not want it dirty. i'd also like my crops not covered in poisons and dirt when i eat them. that is the reason they are cleaned before consumed.Sure is, as long as it works.
Do you want your dinner on your table, or would you like to grow your own gardens, raise your own livestock, pump your own gas?
Copy and pasted world failed because it didn't live up to expectation as oppose to this, there isn't that much disadvantage to this one so this one wins.
Next time why don't you harass the supermarket. After all prepackaged food is bad for you.
how do you know if it lived up to expectations when it's not even in game yet? you don't, but speak of it as if it is fact.

Toes are bound to be stepped on with such massive changes happening in coming patches. In the future, class abilities will change, surplus points will be eliminated, repair materials are changing, etc. And the list goes on. Some people will get upset that they spent time/money/effort into progressing in the old system.
As an example, if in patch 1.19, they decide to eliminate +2 and +3 raw materials in favour of simply NQ and HQ (+1), and they "delete" all your +2s and +3s (or even change them to +1s), will players be upset? Some will, but I know I won't be one of them. And that's coming from someone with stacks of HQ materials from a lot of mining. It's part of the process and for the greater good, in the long run.

Agreed. Nice to hear from someone who is willing to let the game get better and sacrifice some instead of complaining about the smallest thing they can find that doesn't fit their exact play style.
As long as they make obtaining the grade of dark matter your looking for, just as easy as it was to make your own repair mats, this will work out. But if its like 1 drop per hour of gathering/reward per leve reset, or uber high npc price I see this as a problem. Time will tell I guess.
F*** yeah, green apples!
I gotta say I'm not keen on the repair nerf, primarily on the basis that there are materials that are currently only valued as repair materials, (branches for example) once 1.18 is implemented, it means that these materials will have absolutely NO market value, and will be just a waste of space. I'd be more open to it if SE added more crafts that use those mats however.
I'm confused by this mindset. If there are materials that become obsolete, some people would prefer they make a more convoluted system to accommodate those materials? Rather than deleting them (or letting players NPC them)? You will forget about those materials in a week after the patch, if there's no need for them.I gotta say I'm not keen on the repair nerf, primarily on the basis that there are materials that are currently only valued as repair materials, (branches for example) once 1.18 is implemented, it means that these materials will have absolutely NO market value, and will be just a waste of space. Or they'll be converted to dark matter or used in new recipes.I gotta say I'm not keen on the repair nerf, primarily on the basis that there are materials that are currently only valued as repair materials, (branches for example) once 1.18 is implemented, it means that these materials will have absolutely NO market value, and will be just a waste of space. That's actually a pretty good idea (the conversion), it would placate quite a few people I'd hope. Of course, there will always be the "this r21 repair mat used to repair my r48 gear SE is really ripping me off!" people, of which this thread has at least one prime example.
