Can we get female outfits that are a little sexier?

Why does reality even factor in to the discussion of armor when we shoot fireballs, raise from the dead, and instantly teleport to places. If that's okay why can't a piece of armor that doesn't cover every single flesh area of a body be magically imbued to extend a protective aura?

Reality and fantasy/sci fi mmorpgs shoudln't even be in the same sentence.

So what is it. Too puritan for some basic human nature?

Suspension of disbelief as well as people using realism as a substitute way of saying TERA outfits suck. Some places, even if for taste, you have to draw the line. I was joking about QB earlier. That's fine for what that anime was trying to go with, but it wouldn't fit the existing aesthetics of FF14 too well.

There are things that the game can do to look nicer (like a few more color options for clothing) within the constraints that have been set up.


Well I don't think it's sexy, something that would look nicer is those white and red outfits the priestesses in some anime wear.

Catgirls and Miqo'te arent really all that different. Im sure by cat girl you think of a girl wearing nekomimi headband and a fake tail, possibly some fake paws too, but cat girl can also be a real girl with real cat ears and real tail.

And.... Miqo'te are kind of the sex symbol of FFXIV . Sure isn't Lalafell or roegs...

More colors, more designs. There werent' many cultures where women and men wore the exact same thing. As a mage I just feel so manly with my robe on, and not only manly but boring. As a woman, I wear a band tshirt and jeans everyday, nothing too racy. But your clothes do show your style somewhat. In xi we were proud of even basic starting pieces, or embarassed of some if they look kinda lame. I want that back. No gear in this game looks awesome and no gear in this game even looks lame, its all just mediocre at best. I liked the gear style don't get me wrong, but i feel like it needs embellishments, especially if you used FFXIV model viewer and you see the higher level variations of the boring gear we have now. they look awesome :/

Sexiness comes in many ways than the chainmail bikini. Use your imagination, there are mages and Pirates in this game too. Surely they don't dress all alike

While I approve of anything Ecchi related being implemented, be it more tentacled monsters, more revealing clothing, or more risque dialogue, I think we do have some nice attires to choose from atm. My Man'qote is practically popping out of her Vintage Seneschal Coatee. When I throw on a subligar, you can tell that not all of "dat azz" is covered. We've gotta keep things friendly for the random junior high kiddies that play on "onii-chan's" account.

Speaking of which, we are sorely lacking in tentacles. I've thought about starting a thread about just that.

ok it must be said. with the response legit complaints got i feel this is a perfect thread to put it in.

the game has more important things to deal with than this. you know the game is broken and needs to be fixed before bringing this up.
