I do understand, but that defeats the purpose of recruiting a friend , getting new people to play the game, so it is very unlikely they will add that.
They should have implemented it earlier
Veteran rewards are to keep people subscribing.

One thing they should change is give more rewards to the friend recruited, they only get the one item.

and you can get the cait sith doll, with the 20$ digital upgrade, along with the moogle minion, fat chocobo, and the other collector edition stuff
