Why? If someone thinks those should only come from coil then being mad at another option suggested when they think 2 is too many makes perfect sense. You may not agree with the opinion but there's certainly no WTF'ness about it.
That sentence was oddly constructed, but this is what he's pointing at:
Coil people asked to remove sands from the hunt.
Hunters jumped on coil people for getting mad when it's just another option.
A third group now asks for sands from soldiery (which atm is way more controlled than the hunt)
Hunters jump on this third group for suggesting another option outside hunts (the nerve!)
Irony at its finest.
Sands from soldiery is not any worse than sands from the hunt, on the contrary, at least soldiery has a weekly cap.
That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about the fact that many posters in here screaming bloody murder at this idea were the same posters that were defending the idea of putting sands/oils in hunts.
I understand the opinion of those that believe that they should only come out of coil. And before the hunts, I would have agreed with them. But unfortunately, the cats out of the bag. Taking away sands/oils from the hunt would cause more backlash than help, at this point. It would only make sense to add sands to other content, if they're going to add it to content that is basically the antithesis of coil(hunts).
Anyway, there's no optimal answer here. I'm just tired of the lord of the flies bs that's happened ever since hunts started and anything that will decrease participation in hunts and increase participation in the rest of the game would be helpful.
