Nobody is going to FARM ex primal with newbies. They will farm with their statics and others who have already cleared. Not going to happen until they are nerfed to the ground.By incresaing drop rate for Garuda, titan, Ifrit it would incentivise players to start running that content again. Thus making it easier for those who havn't cleared them yet to be able to experience it again.
How many don't bother trying to farm the ex primals for the mount due to it's 1% drop rate? Theirs no reason to farm them for the drops, no reason to farm them for the weapons either. So by increasing drop rate of the mounts it would give reason for those who no longer care for them to return.
I think the argument is that no one really minds farming for it, but with the drop rate and RNG, we can safely assume some players will not see this VANITY item until maybe into a year of playing or, maybe more - which I would arguably would not mind myself but the item IS a vanity item...if it dropped gold for $%@ then yeah, I would understand...

most of us who haven't cleared it don't give a shit as much as you do.
Grinding for it to drop is ok. Competing against 7 other people is not.
I wish the system guarantees you a mirror or mount for let's say.... 50 clears of that primal.
Sense, you are not making any of it.
I've cleared all ex primals numerous times, yet have no reason to return to do them. Never spent hours farming for the mirror from Levi Ex either. Which should be increased to at least match the drop rate of Ramuh weapons.
People need to come to terms with rare items not being intended to be owned by all people.
You should not grind out hundreds of primal wins with the intent of getting a mount if you hate doing that.
Just do the content you like, and you are either lucky or unlucky when it comes to receiving a gift like that, and you move on.
That's the healthy mindset. Nobody should be killing themselves to get all the horses. It looks absolutely unreasonable to grind them out because it's not meant to be grinded.
Why? Because without something rare and/or unique to set people apart, there are many who would not play the game. When everyone can have the same things with minimal effort, and all look the same, people stop caring. Just like someone else said. For a game developer, it's always worth the time and money to do these things.ok, i will say it differently, why use money, time and energy to make this item then? i means, if it means to be something only a few have what the point? are we at the point that the game have enough content for need rare stuff? i don't think soo.
my two cents.
@Mjytresz: i'm pointing the main flaws of the game, grind for grind, because recently it's what we get. i still wait a thrilling challenge that will make me want to face it and beat it... i don't feel a dance boss like it's a decent challenge... by the way if i had wanted to play DDR-online i will be on it, not on FF14 well you see the point i guess.
With the exception of the ramuh mount obviously, all these mounts have had their moment in the sun for a long time now. I rarely even see anyone that OWNS one of them still use it. Like the limited time difficult, I think that over time the rarity of older content drops should be eased. Pretty sure this is what WoW did for the people that "gotta catch them all" for mounts in older, now soloable content. It's fine if the latest & greatest is difficult & grindy, but when you reach the point where Bluebirds are going for millions, and no one even uses PF to do EX primals, it's just dumb for their rarity to remain so obscene.
The thing is, they changed Deathcharger's Reins from 1/5,000 chance to 1/100 chance. Which is likely what we already have here. With the exception of the ramuh mount obviously, all these mounts have had their moment in the sun for a long time now. I really like it when I see someone with a pony. I'm glad for them that they got lucky. It feels like people do not wish others luck anymore. They want every single thing for themselves. Probably the same people who if they would get one go all "look at me and my mount dawg!"
It's a shame people want everything at a reasonable farm/grind level. I'm glad these mounts have a huge luck factor. I really like that we don't see them often.
