ISP with a 10g limit? Where in gods name do you live? That's absurdly low unless you're on something silly like a 3 or 4g network. Cable modems generally provide way more.

Either way the game isn't going to limit itself based on a 10g limitation. Most internet providers don't have a cap that low, and there is no good reason to expect SE to cater to the lowest possible common denominator when most people have caps far above that one. Find a way to use an internet cafe, get a file copy from a friend, or look for more novel solutions.

Honestly did you expect to post about this here and square would suddenly make you a custom installer or something? In the short term your only option is to go elsewhere for your download.

BTW, if there's someone else in your area that also plays XIV, you can ask help from them to copy their installed client directly. XIV client are fortunately can be copy-paste directly between PCs and will run without further patching. This were carried since 1.0 days.

Is it worth spending your monthly limit? no.

If anything, just wait until the end of month to blow 10gb if you really wanted to play, the game has changed since than but it all boils down to the kind of player you are, you might get overwhelmed playing catch up or enjoy it, I can say this though, if you quit at start and coming back, unless you have a group of friends wating, you're not going to have a good time in Dungeons.
