Can we get female outfits that are a little sexier?

I would like to think that the artists on the game, especially Akihiko Yoshida, would know the difference between artistically appealing and street corner dime bitch. While there have been a few bumps in the road here and there, Final Fantasy has usually(keyword) kept things classy, and they're ideally going to stick with that.

The most important thing is to keep artistic consistency, so if a certain outfit looks like it would fit within the style of Eorzea, then by all means go for it.

I don't mind things like FFXI manteels but really, I don't want it to go too far. If you want sexy xxx outfits there are means for you to get them without making everyone else see. Not everyone rolls a Miqo'te with their weird cat fetishes in mind. When creating new armor, please consider the females that are playing female characters, and don't completely cater to men who play female character so they can level up crafting with only one hand.

True Nikita but I don't think anyone here wants "sexy xxx" outfits. Everyone sees the word sexy and jumps to slutty, as was stated in the OP that's not what the thread is asking for. Personally I don't play a female character so it doesn't matter much to me but people are just asking for more options which I can respect and support. As I stated before it's not like the practical armor isn't going to keep coming. A lot of people here seem to be living in extremes, one or the other. They can both have their place in the game.

I think people just like to define a clear boundary. It's not really living in extremes. I'm fine with anything up to a certain point, but stressing where that point is; that's the important part. Also, judging from some of the replies, there are people out there who do want slutty. In the end I only have two concerns: first, like Malakhim said, artistic consistency. Second, I don't want my character to be reduced to a sex object.

I agree that many of the outfits seem boring, I just don't want it to turn into an anime where every girl magically has tripple Ds, which.. Some people would be more than happy with.

Catgirls and Miqo'te arent really all that different. Im sure by cat girl you think of a girl wearing nekomimi headband and a fake tail, possibly some fake paws too, but cat girl can also be a real girl with real cat ears and real tail.

And.... Miqo'te are kind of the sex symbol of FFXIV . Sure isn't Lalafell or roegs...
