Is Coerthas going to be the main thing of the next patch?

As we all know there isnt not going to new areas ( and far more content ) until the new expancion. But if Cortheas is the main thing of the next patch, what is gonna be about? I know we dont know nothing yet but apart from the new primal, but is Ishgard finaly going to be released? we will see new areas of Coerthas? what you think

Clearly Coerthas WILL be the main focus of the next major patch (especially given that Shiva will be featured there).

Now, I know they said they weren't going to release brand new areas until the expansion, but they didn't say anything about extensions/additions to already existing areas (like what they keep doing to Revenant's Toll, and more recently, North Shroud).

So we'll just have to wait and see what we'll get by then.

Even if they did have Ishgard on the release slate as a surprise, I'm not going to get my hopes up too high for it. At this point, we've had so long to think about what's beyond the walls that whatever's there is bound to be at least a little disappointing. I'm sure SE's not going to let it be the Duke Nukem Forever of city-states or anything, but the bare-bones brick structures we've seen in the Ishgardian fortifications and throne room make me hesitant to hope for anything too aesthetic (unless they actually went for Rapture Bar, which, no, I have not given up joking about, yet).

Maybe the Ascians brought them some technological ideas to spruce the place up a bit.

Anyway, yes, the next patch is all about Shiva so you can bet Coerthas is going to be the main area we're hanging out in, and it's the last of the basic six primals so hopefully they've got some great reveals planned leading up to the final patch before expansions hit!

and btw that lady that appeared in snowcloak, was Shiva? She looked like a mortal, not like a primal, also his clothes, where like scholar clothes? not something weird

Didn't they say that the weather change in Coerthas was due to the aether changes in the area from Dalamud falling?

We don't know. It's heavily hinted from the way her followers are willing to die for her that it's some kind of tempering, and even her name (Iceheart) refers to Shiva. She also kinda looks like Shiva. But in the end, we have no idea. We'll have to wait for 2.4 to be sure :P

Yup. Just like the rain being much more common in Drybone.

Looking at my Eorzea map, I've wondered why there's no West Shroud. That could function as a higher level (say lv.38-50) area for the Black Shroud (Kinda like Northern Thanalan), and a junction between Mor Dhona and the Black Shroud

As far as future content, I'd like to visit Dravania (#introducethegria), and Ala Mhigo, whether under Garlean occupation or otherwise.
