    There's highlanders though. And I always thought they kind of made humanized roes a bit redundant, since they both filled the big tough dude niche. And for women who don't have the bulk highlanders and elezen both fit the bill.

    Were highlanders around pre arr? Seems like something they would have added when they redid the game to let players choose between a jrpg and wrpg hero and I think they would have did something to set roes apart if they were in at the start.

    Highlanders were a male-only clan back in 1.0. In ARR SE added female highlanders.
